What is Viscosupplementation?
Viscosupplementation is a non-surgical regenerative procedure offered to patients at our Regenerative Medicine Center to increase mobility and decrease pain associated with orthopedic conditions and injuries that have not been effectively treated with physical therapy or pain medication.
Viscosupplementation provides relief of symptoms associated with joint and cartilage damage by injecting Hyaluronic Acid into the targeted joint. This injection provides symptomatic relief as well as assists in the production of natural hyaluronanon in the area.
What is Hyaluronic Acid?
Hyaluronic Acid acts a natural lubricator for the joints, allowing for painless movement of the cartilage surrounding your joints.
